Ronnie Roy McClure, 81, of Lafayette, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at Bickford of Lafayette.
He was born June 5, 1941, in Earl Park, to the late Leslie and Myrtle (Livingston) Flood.
Ronnie graduated from Scircleville High School, class of 1959 and proudly served in the Army from 1964 until being honorably discharged in 1969.
On August 14, 1965, he married Tonda Atha in St James Lutheran Church. She preceded him in death on December 16, 2017.
Ronnie worked as an accountant for ALCOA for 34 years before retiring in 1994.
He enjoyed playing golf and watching Purdue Basketball.
Surviving are four daughters, Cheryl (husband Todd) Ferguson and Tammy (husband Tracy) Wilson both of Lafayette, Ronda (husband John) McNamee of Arcadia, and Teresa (husband Ron) Dugan of Greencastle, two sisters, Pat (husband Mike) Manion and Ann Godbey both of Frankfort. Also surviving are grandchildren, Adam Sharp, Jacob (wife Kiersten) Ferguson, Victoria and Elizabeth Dugan, as well as a great granddaughter, Nesrin Ferguson and his beloved cat Jack.
Ronnie was preceded in death by brothers, Gene and Charles Flood and Robert and Alan Livingston and an uncle, Hartzel (wife Dorothy) Livingston.
The family would like to thank his sister, Pat and brother-in-law, Mike for their care of Ronnie as well as the care he received at Bickford of Lafayette and Elara Caring.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Wednesday, October 19th at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel.
The funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday, October 20, 2022 also at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Lafayette, IN 47909. Burial will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
