Richard L. Conrad, 78, of Lafayette, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at Franciscan Health East.  He was born April 26, 1944, in Ft. Wayne, IN, to the late Richard and Naomi (Timberman) Conrad.  Rich graduated from Royal Center High School in 1962 and Purdue University in 1967.  Rich worked as a draftsman for National Homes from 1967 until 1979.  He then founded his own design consulting company Richard L. Conrad and Associates and after 26 years he retired in 2005.  He was a member of Stidham United Methodist Church and Eagles Aerie 347.  Rich enjoyed golfing, playing cards and automobiles. Surviving are his sons Jason D. Conrad and Mitchell R. Conrad both of Lafayette.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd.  Graveside service will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday at Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery near Twelve Mile, IN.  Memorial contributions may be made to Stidham United Methodist Church in Rich’s memory.
