Lucinda Sue “Sindee” Sheets, 70, of Lafayette, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at Stillwater Hospice in Fort Wayne.
She was born March 27, 1952, in Shelbyville, to the late Harry and Emma (Mann) Hiatt.
Sindee, was known as the “Life of the Party” was a member of the Moose Lodge and 40&8 Voiture and enjoyed fishing, cooking, gardening, knitting, crocheting, attending races, traveling and spending winters in Florida.
Surviving are two daughters, Shallie (husband Larry) Brown of Huntington and Shawnelle (husband Mark) Luttrell of Lafayette, a sister, Nancy (husband Martin) Wall of Camden, TN, a brother, Rodney (wife Darla) Hiatt of Plainfield and a special cousin, Alice Miller of Indianapolis, also surviving is her longtime companion, Steve LeMaster. Sindee was the Funky Florida Grandma to Mackalin Malone, McCollin Mounts and Reiley Brown and great grandchildren, Mallee, Libbi and Emaleigh.
Sindee was preceded in death by an infant brother and an infant sister.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until the time of the memorial service at 3:00 pm on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Lafayette, IN 47909 with Rev. Joseph Park Jr. officiating.
