Judith L. Bol

Judith “Judy” Lavonne (Cuppy) Bol, 84, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 7, 2024. Judy was born February 9, 1940, in Lafayette, IN to the late Robert and Louella
(Seifers) Cuppy. She graduated from Jefferson High School and married the love of her life, the late William “Bill” Bol sharing 61 years together before his passing in 2019.

Judy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a life-long learner and successful entrepreneur, at different points running her own beauty salon, owning a restaurant, starting a Christian book store, and running her own real estate brokerage.  Judy adored children; in her later years she taught swim lessons for Sugar Creek Swim Club in Crawfordsville, IN. She loved to laugh, bringing joy to everyone around her. Above all her greatest desire was for people to come to know Jesus.

Surviving are a daughter, Mindy (D.J.) Hertzler of Indianapolis, a son, Jeff (Pauline) Bol of Maysville, KY, a sister, Monna (Bill) Burgess, Lafayette, and a brother, Jeff (Judy) Cuppy, Lafayette. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Jeff Hertzler, Whitney (Camilo) Colonia, Aubrey (Dwayne) Golbek, Zachary Bol, Seth Bol, and Caleb (Lynsey) Bol as well as seven great grandchildren, Ashton Boller, Mason Heath, Isabella Colonia, Judah Golbek, Ezra Golbek, Tessa Golbek, and Ira Golbek. Judy was preceded in death by her sister, Sherry Johnson and husband, William Bol.

Visitation will be from 1:30 pm until the time of the service at 2:30 pm on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Soller- Baker Funeral Home, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Lafayette, IN.

Judy’s son-in-law D.J. Hertzler will be officiating. Interment will follow at Meadow View Cemetery, 3733 Poland Hill, Lafayette, IN.  Memorial Contributions may be made in Judy’s name to Itown Church, 12491 E. 136th St
