Liza - I’m so glad you commented. I’m Joyce’s grandson and I was about 17 when they sold that house. I will always remember that house fondly. Going “golf-ball hunting” in the woods, tractor rides, and sneaking on the course to play a few holes with Grandma and Grandpa will always be remembered!

Hello, My name is Carol Fowler and I live in Calgary Alberta, Canada. My father, Charles Yauch was a cousin of Chuck Lange and, in 2012 Joyce and Chuck welcomed me and my sister, Barbara Lees into their home. We wanted to visit our dad’s birthplace and , along with Ruby Thompson and her family, we received the royal treatment . I have fond memories of being served ice cream for breakfast, playing dominoes and meeting with a grandson who looked at me in awe and announced that he’d never met a Canadian! Joyce was a warm and welcoming hostess. I’m sure she will be missed. With sincere condolences, Carol Fowler

22 years ago I met Joyce and Chuck when I bought their home. They had created a very cozy, special home tucked into the woods and I loved it immediately. After moving in, I discovered golf stuff everywhere. Golf wallpaper border, golf ball coat hooks, small golf clubs in a wreath, it was definitely the theme. And the house sits on a golf course. One thing they were sad about was not being able to take the grandkids for rides in the riding mower trailer through the woods. I still enjoy the daffodils that Joyce planted along the woods. I have thought about them many, many times. My condolences to the family. Sincerely, Liza Braunlich
