Jerome “Jerry” A. Bullock, 82, of Lafayette, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at his home. He was born July 3, 1934, in Loogootee, IN, to the late Michael and M. Genevieve Greenwell Bullock. Jerry graduated from Loogootee High School in 1952 and served in the Navy from 1955 to 1957. On May 5, 1962 he married Mary Jane Downey in Loogootee and she survives. Jerry worked as a Machinist for 37 years at TRW Ross Gear and retired in 1995. He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, and enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Surviving along with his wife are his children Jerome (Joan) Bullock Jr. of Indianapolis, William Bullock of Lafayette, Thomas (Julie) Bullock of Indianapolis, Lori (Anthony) Schafer, Neil (Stephanie) Bullock all of Lafayette, 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Also surviving are his sisters, Rita Giesler of Lafayette, Linda (Jim) Kidwell of FL, Martha (Glen) Fitzmaurice and Cathy (Butch) Corbin all of Lafayette. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Rosary will be at 4:45 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am on Saturday at St Lawrence Catholic Church, Father Eric Underwood officiating. Interment will be at St Boniface Catholic Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to: St. Lawrence School.
