Georgia A. (Grenard) Berninger-Fultz

Georgia Anna (Grenard) Berninger-Fultz, 87, of Clarks Hill, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2026, at her residence.
She was born February 20, 1939, in Clarks Hill to the late Claude Otis and Bessie May (Parvis) Grenard. She was a 1957 graduate of Lauramie High School. On May 7, 1960, she married Wayne E. Berninger in Lafayette. Wayne passed away on June 11, 1987. Georgia later remarried James F. Fultz in Lafayette on July 5, 1991, and he survives.
Georgia was a member of Cathedral of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception. She was also a 50+ year member of the Moose Lodge and was on the Tippecanoe County 4-H Council.
Georgia was a proud Dairy Farmer’s Wife from 1960-1987. Her family meant everything to her, and she loved preparing dinners for them all. Aside from spending time with family, she enjoyed going mushroom hunting and fishing. She was also an excellent seamstress.
She is survived by her 4 children, Sally (James) McGuire of Hillsboro, Mark (Dora) Berninger of Crawfordsville, Brian (Donna) Berninger of Lafayette, and Steve (Peggie) Berninger of Crawfordsville; 1 brother, Max Grenard; 7 grandchildren, Melissa (Brent) Arthur, Mindi (Kurt) Fischer, Megan (Wesley) Fishero, Tyler (Haley) Berninger, Jami Berninger, Morgan Thompson, and Kelly (Deryk) Benge; and 14 great-grandchildren, Ryan Arthur, Owen Arthur, Brooke Fischer, Kade Fischer, Evan Fischer, Madison Fishero, Joshua Fishero, Deklan Berninger, Eli Nunan, Keegan Perry, Archie Thompson, Oakley Benge, Georgie Benge, and River Benge.
Along with her parents, Claude and Bessie Grenard, she was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Harwood.
Visitation will be from 10:30 until time of service at 11:30 am, Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Soller-Baker, Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd., Lafayette, IN 47909.
Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, 2122 Old Romney Road, Lafayette, IN 47909.
