I am sorry to hear of Franks passing. We worked together at Purdue Memorial Union for several years. Every morning he would come to The hotel for a cup of coffee and a nice chat. I always enjoyed that and it was not the same after he retired. My faith says this is not the end only so long for a while. I’m sure I will see him again??

It is so hard to figure out what to say, when we lose someone who meant so much to all who knew and loved Uncle Frank. He was a wonderful husband, who loved his wife (Aunt "Sissy") more that anything in the world...that was obvious to anyone who ever saw them together! The way he looked at her, the way his face lit up when she would walk into a room, and always refer to her as honey. He was a good dad, and his kids all knew they were loved and safe with him. And there was nothing more special to him than his grand, great-grand, and great-great-grand kids! In fact...any kids! Uncle Frank was grandpa or uncle to ANY kid...to ALL kids!!! In his eyes, a kid could do no wrong (it would be nice if more people saw it that way, wouldn't it?!). I can say he was a wonderful Uncle-I always knew he loved me, and if I needed anything-I knew I could always turn to him. So I guess, to really sum it up, you would just say that Frank Tunis was a good man! He had a huge heart filled with love, and he shared that love, with anyone he encountered! I love him and will miss him. And, I love the family that he and Aunt Sissy created! You all mean the world to me! I am here for you, please know that...

You were the Best Father In Law that I could of ever asked for. Thank you for accepting me into your Family as if I was your own. I will never forget all of the memories that we had over the last 35 years. I didn’t expect to have to write this so soon but GOD had better plans for you to end your suffering. Please don’t worry about any of us as we will be alright within time. Continue to watch over us from above as you did while you were here and keep us safe. Love you always, until we meet again!
