Evelyn Margaret Rishel, 91, of Lafayette, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2026 at her residence.
She was born July 2, 1934, in Ste Genevieve, MO, to the late Henry and Olive (Black) Linderer.
Evelyn worked in the Extrustion Department for Alcoa for many years.
She was a member of the St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Carpenters Union and Aluminum Workers Union.
Evelyn enjoyed garage sales and flea markets.
She also liked to travel, crochet, read books, and watch game shows and westerns.
Surviving are her daughters, Dawn Bradley (Brad), Deborah Rishel (Bob Brown), and Theresa Emory
She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Erin Stalcup (Justin), Kyle Rishel (Tasha), Jamie Addams (Joshwa), Kelsey Bradley, and Tina McGee. As well as 9 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James Rishel, her son, David Rishel, her sisters, Betty Castellana, Mary Schwent, Patty Clapper, Jackie Eddy, Susie Martin, her brother, Charlie Linderer, and a grandson, Jason Emory.
Visitation will be from 2:30 pm until the time of service at 3:30 pm on Friday, January 30, 2026, at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Lafayette, IN 47909.
