I’m sorry for you and your family lost. I met Dr. Sarah in the fall/winter of 2015 after my sister Millie recommended we see her for my type-2 diabetes. Millie, along with my wife Julie and daughter Sarah were enrolled in the study in January 2016. Nine months later my A1C was below 6, I’d lost 100 pounds (down from 349) in nine months, but mostly Dr. Sarah and my sister Millie saved our lives. Millie because she suggested the trial. Dr. Sarah because she was the trial. I was the only one with type-2. It helped us all with our weight and better diet. Dr. Sarah you will be missed by all that have been touched by you. Rest In Peace.

So sorry for the loss of your wife, mother, sister and doctor who helped countless people. I just watched Dr. Sarah's Ted Talk this weekend and it was eye opening, sensible, backed by research and life changing. Thank God that she continues to reach people through the internet even though she has passed away at such a young age. Hoping your precious memories will console your family in your grief. Thoughts and prayers for all.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Sarah’s energy and determination were innate characteristics. I cherish our memories of our childhood and although our lives took us to different geographical locations, she was always in my heart. I will miss her dearly. Thank you for making Sarah happy and being her best friend Brad. Aunt Ellen, thank you for inspiring Sarah. Your passion shone through in Sarah.

I had the pleasure of being Dr. Hallberg’s primary care patient before she began her medical weight loss clinic. She was, easily, the best physician I ever had. She was kind, compassionate, listened to every word l said, worked with me to meet my health goals, and was smart as a whip. I am now a critical care nurse practitioner and think of her and her holistic approach to medicine on a near daily basis, as I care for my own patients. I was horribly sad to hear of her death. It is truly a loss to the medical community, as well as her family and friends. You have my deepest condolences and prayers for peace during this time.

Sarah was a wonderful colleague at IU Health Arnett. Always in a hurry to get things done. Sometimes it would leave you breathless. Her numerous accomplishments speak for themselves but she was also a wonderful person with enthusiasm and direct action. I understand now her hurry to get things done. She packed a lot into those 50 brief years and we all miss her. Goodbye Sarah.

I am saddened indeed to know my mentor and inspirer has left us. Though we never met, she really inspired me to do something about diabetes in kenya and it resulted in starting Diabetes Hope Channel. God rest her soul in eternal peace and give Grace and comfort to her children and to all those others who knew and dearly love her. May her legacy and videos continue to inspire generations to come.

I was fortunate to have Dr. Hallberg as my GP before she started her Diabetes Reversal / Prevention practice. I always appreciated how she genuinely listened and heard me and took all my concerns seriously being my advocate. I often think of a humorous poster that she had on her wall...a doctor talking to an obese patient asking " Okay, which fits into your schedule better....an hour of exercise a day or being dead? " It was such a reminder to never be too busy to take care of myself. May her family find comfort in knowing that while her life was too short, she made a difference for so many. Rest in Peace, Sarah.

Dear Hallberg Family, My deepest sympathies. It's always hard to lose a parent, but especially when you are so young. I KNOW she will be watching over you from above. May your great memories help heal your tremendous loss. Sincerely, Sue Stan
