Dennis D. Wycoff, 65, of Lafayette, passed away surrounded by his family on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at his residence.
He was born October 27, 1956, in Terre Haute, to the late Ernest and Nola (Myers) Wycoff.
Denny graduated from South Vigo High School.
Denny worked as a metal fabricator for Wabash National for over 36 years.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, music, hunting, fishing, riding his Harley and working on his 1937 Jaguar.
Surviving are his wife, Polly Wycoff of Lafayette, two sons, Travis (Holly) Wycoff of Lafayette and Brad Myers of Lafayette, four daughters, Misty (Matt) Motter of Lafayette, Melissa (Jon) Goddard of Otterbein, Tonya Munson of Oxford, and Deidra (Chris) Miller of Frankfort, two brothers, Roger Wycoff of Terre Haute, and Merlin Wycoff of Evansville, and two sisters, Barbara Marshall of Paducah, KY and Lia (Rick) Torbet of West Point. Also surviving are fifteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Denny was preceded in death by two brothers, Ernest and Russell Wycoff, a sister, Donna Wilson and two grandchildren.
A visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday at Soller- Baker Funeral Home, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Lafayette.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Soller- Baker Funeral Home, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Lafayette, with Rev. Terry Johnston officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Romney.
Memorial contributions may be made in Denny’s name to Special Olympics.
