Corey Daniel Eric Calloway, 37, of Lafayette, passed away on Friday, May 16, 2025 at his residence.
He was born December 30, 1987, in Frankfort, IN, to Brenda Sue (Pickering) Calloway.
Corey graduated from McCutcheon High School in 2006 and also attended the Art Institute of Indianapolis.
He worked as a front desk clerk for Candlewood Suites in Lafayette, IN.
Corey was a talented artist and enjoyed playing guitar. He also was a skilled tattoo artist and a devoted fan of the band, Pigeons Play Ping-Pong. Corey was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors. He was also a member of Innovation Church in Lafayette.
Corey is survived by his mother, Brenda Calloway of Lafayette; a daughter, Ava Mae Calloway and a son, Jackson Montgomery Calloway; a sister, Neeley (Kevin) Risley of Lafayette; and a brother, Blake (Somi) Dillon of Cheyenne, WY; a grandfather, Butch Pickering of West Lafayette; an aunt, Melanie (Dave) Morelock of Crawfordsville; and two uncles, Ric (Trina) Pickering of Lafayette, and Tony Pickering of Lafayette; three nieces; a nephew; and many cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Innovation Church at 2502 Mondavi Blvd. Lafayette, IN 47909 on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 2:00 pm.
