Burton E. Corwin III, 75, of West Lafayette, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024, at his daughter’s home in Fowler, IN.  He was born December 12, 1948, in Lafayette, IN, to the late Burton E. Corwin Jr. and Roberta (Morrison) Snapp.

Burton worked for the Lafayette Street Department for over 30 years.  He enjoyed fishing, word puzzles, watching NCIS and collecting coins and elephants.

Surviving is his daughter Catherine C. (Michael) Reitz of Fowler, IN, grandchildren Meghan Renee’ (Robert Anderson) Katzman of Monticello and Charles Jacob (Gwennie Cusatis) Katzman of Lafayette.   Also surviving are his siblings Charles E. Corwin of West Lafayette and Diana L. Corwin of Lafayette.  Burton was preceded in death by his brother Gary L. Corwin.

A celebration of life will be from 2:00pm until 7:00 pm on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Fowler Park with dinner at 4:00 pm.
