I am deeply saddened to hear of Mark’s passing. We grew-up together and I feel so fortunate to have shared so many wonderful experiences - school and neighborhood antics, church softball, fishing in MN, and of course early days at Cat… Mark and his father helped me in ways I’d suspect neither could fully recognize. I’m truly blessed for having known them. While we lost touch many years ago I’ve always considered him a good friend. My thoughts and prayers are with Tammy and the family during this difficult time.

I'm very sorry to hear of Mark's passing. My Prayers are with you and your family. I remember when Mark had knee surgery and was limping around the Plant, I asked him what his Dr. said to do and he told me he was to put frozen corn on it. The next day I bought him in a cooler with a cuff that fit his knee and circulated cold water on demand from my surgeon. He thought that really beat the frozen corn.

I was sad to hear this news. His wife, family and friends are in our prayers. I pray that they look past this storm and understand that God is with them.. One thing I believe is if there were more Mark McNary’s in the world it would be a much better place. He was a good friend that I was lucky enough to spend time with.

Beverly Waisner left a message on December 17, 2020:
I was privilaged to know Mark as a great Christian and fellow member of my church. Mark was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. We do not often use the term elder in our church but I felt that he fulfilled the Biblical role of elder within our church even though he was younger than me. He will be greatly missed but his influence will continue.
