Wilhelm Haak Jr, 51, of Lafayette, passed away at 9:13 am Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at his residence.
He was born January 9, 1965, in Indianapolis, to Wilhelm Haak of Indianapolis and the late Anna Billingsley Haak.
His marriage was to Sherri Read and she survives
Wilhelm had been a pricing specialist for Caterpillar in Lafayette for 25 years.
He attended Lafayette Church of Christ and enjoyed boating, camping sports and hosting sixteen different exchange students. Wilhelm loved music and was a DJ.
Surviving along with his wife and father are his children, Brandon Wayne Haak of Indianapolis, Stefanie Ann Oliver of Fowler and Brett Wilhelm Haak of Lafayette. Also surviving are his brother, Michael Haak of Indianapolis; two sisters, Maria Haak of Beech Grove and Monica Houk (husband Tony) of Mooresville along with two grandchildren, Molly Haak-Hazlewood and Payton Oliver.
Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 pm on Sunday, February 28, with Funeral Service at 10:00 am on Monday, February 29th at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd Lafayete, IN 47909. Mr. Mike Sullivan will be officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Greenwood.
