Wayne R. Andrews, 68, of West Lafayette, died at 5:50 PM Monday, December 27, 2010 at his residence.
He was born June 30, 1942, in Chicago, IL, to the late Wayne Andrews and Marie Hempenious Andrews Sasvild.
On 04/20/1974 he married Ellen Domm in Chicago, IL and she survives.
Wayne was a Mobile Home Park Manager for the past 30 years.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles, woodworking, gambling, and fishing.
Surviving along with his spouse are 3 sons Wayne Andrews Jr (wife Abby) of Thousand Oaks, CA, Ron Andrews (wife Lisa) of Battle Ground and Steven Andrews (wife Christine) of Woodridge, IL; 2 daughters
Laura Schmidt (husband Steve) of Orland Park, IL and Michelle Walker of Mahanoy City, PA; a brother
Sam Andrews (wife Ruth) of Orland Park, IL and 2 sisters Marsha VanVuren of Titusville, FL and Donna Hann (husband Bob) of Demotte.
Also surviving are 8 grandsons.
He was preceded in death by a son Glenn Andrews.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 pm Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Soller-Baker West Lafayette Chapel, with a funeral service at 10:00 AM Friday, December 31, 2010 at Soller-Baker West Lafayette Chapel 1184 Sagamore Parkway W. West Lafayette, IN. 47906 with Pastor Earl Owen officiating.
Burial will follow at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
