Wanda passed away early Saturday morning, August 29, at her home in Lafayette with her eldest son, Steven, by her side. Wanda was born on November 28th, 1928. She was a homemaker, wife, and mother of two children. Her hobbies included a monthly card club, traveling, golfing, and bowling. But her most passionate hobby was Purdue men's basketball. Wanda was also an active member of Christ United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, youngest son, and all three of her siblings. She is survived by her eldest son, 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and her beloved poodle Emily. Friends may call from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM Thursday at Christ United Methodist Church, 3610 S 18th Street. Service will at 1:00 PM Thursday at Christ United Methodist Church, Rev. Scott Mann officiating. Interment will be at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens. Soller-Baker Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
