W. Scott Woodruff, 42
William Scott Woodruff, 42, of Lafayette, died at 8:55 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, at his residence.
He was born on Dec. 30, 1967, in Indianapolis, and was the son of George W. “Bill” Woodruff of Lafayette and the late Janice Woodruff. He graduated from Central Catholic High School and attended Indiana State University.
On May 6, 1999, he married Jenine Burch, and she survives.
Mr. Woodruff enjoyed working at Indiana Vetertans? Home, and he had been a certified nursing assistant for the past 18 years. He also enjoyed Purdue sports, Stamp collecting, old movies and Civil War history.
Surviving are wife and father are three sisters, Tamara Woodruff (fiancé: Michael Lawrence) of Tuscon, Ariz., Sarah Woodruff and Elizabeth Woodruff (fiancé: Russ Kelsey) of Lafayette; and a brother, Michael Woodruff of Lafayette, and his father-in-law, Vern Tarbell, who lived in his home.
He was preceded in death by are a brother, Chad Woodruff, and a sister, Michelle Woodruff.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010, at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Funeral service Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, Pastor Del Broersma officiating.
