Virginia Karnehm, 80
Virginia L. “Ginny” Karnehm, 80, of Lafayette, died at 6:17 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 26, 2010, at St. Anthony Health Care.
She was born Sept. 22, 1930, in Wabash, to the late Ralph and Hazel Sipole Titus.
Her husband, Burl Karnehm, preceded her in death March 17, 1985.
Mrs. Karnehm worked at the kitchen at Star Lanes Bowling Alley and as a homemaker.
She enjoyed fishing, bowling, and sports, especially the Colts, the Cubs and Purdue.
Survivors include three sons, Roger Karnehm (wife: Karen) of Indianapolis, Bruce Karnehm (wife: Mary) of Gaston, N.C., and Tim Karnehm (wife: Janet) of Battle Ground; two daughters, Patty FitzSimons (husband: Pat) and Linda Taylor (husband: Kenny), both of Lafayette; and one brother, Jerry Titus (wife: Martie) of Virginia.
Also surviving are grandchildren, Eric Karnehm and Shawn Karnehm; several stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 1 sister, 7 brothers.
Visitation is at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel from 10 a.m. Thursday until the service there at noon Thursday, with Pastor Guy Brown officiating. Interment, Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
