Travis Robert Thomas Lee 37, of Lafayette, IN, died at 12:16 PM Thursday October 27, 2011 at Residence.
He was born October 15, 1974, in Lafayette, IN, to Ronnie E. & Donna M. Rainwater Lee.
Travis attended St. Lutheran School, McCutcheon High School and was currently at Ivy Tech State College.
Travis loved to sing all types of music. Enjoyed being in the theatre plays and had the lead role in Grease at the Columbian park summer theatre. He enjoyed the Colts, playing basketball and competitive volleyball, and loved to fish.
Travis had a heart of gold no matter what walk of life you came from. He worked as a brick layer for several years and most recently Wabash National. It&s comforting to know he knew the Lord and had a strong faith in God. Baptized and confirmed in Christ as a member of St. James Lutheran Church.
Surviving are parent, Ronnie E. & Donna M. Lee, Lafayette. Two brothers, Troy Lee wife Mikki of Lafayette, Tim Lee wife Vangie of Florida. Sister, Tammy Stevenson husband Chad of Lafayette. Two step-brothers, Wally Aldrige of Lafayette and Ronnie Lee Jr. of Iowa. Three step-sisters, Tracy Spalding, Laurie Aldrige and Missy Uhl. Two half-brothers, John & David Brunner of Missouri.
Seven nieces and nephews, many cousins, aunts, uncles that loved him dearly.
Visitation will be Tuesday 5-7 pm November 1, 2011 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel. Funeral service Wednesday Nov. 2 10 am at St. James Lutheran Church. Pastor Daniel P. May officiating. Burial will be at Meadow View Cemetery. Online condolences send to www.soller-baker.com.

My heart goes out to you and your family during this difficult time. Travis was always loving and heart of gold. He always gave me a hug and kiss when he saw me and always said ""I love you Sis"". He will be missed dearly. Travis and Wally were more than step brothers they were brothers. They loved each other so much. As our family mourns the loss of our step brother just know we understand your pain. May God hold us all in the palm of his hands during this difficult time. Travis is now our angel. We love you all.
