Theresa Marie Begley, 70, of Lafayette, died Saturday, July 1, 2017, at Mulberry Health and Rehabilitation. She was born in Fitchburg, Massachusetts on January 28, 1947 to the late Robert and Doris Hardy. On December 20, 1996, she married Leonard “Len” Begley in Florida. He preceded her in death on July 10, 2000. Theresa retired from Rosewalk Village as a dietary cook and enjoyed spending her free time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her two daughters, Tonya M. Gonzalez (husband Juan Gonzalez) of Lafayette, and Tammy Freed (husband Jaime Carrillo) of Colotlan, Mexico, her 10 grandchildren, Jaime, Luis, Liliana, Christina, Gabriela, Mayra, Eduardo, Margarita, Monica, and Mireya, 2 step grandchildren, Luis, and Katherine, and 3 great grandchildren, Wesley, Mason, and Alex. There will be no services.
