Thaddeus A. Rausch, 58, of Lafayette, passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at IU Health Arnett Hospital.

He was born September 8, 1964, in Lafayette, to the late Herbert and Carol (Nugen) Rausch.

Thadd graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School in 1982. He worked at the Purdue Union in food service for several years. He moved to Texas in 2002, where he lived with his finance, Debbie Maples, until her death in 2017.

Thadd attended Immanuel United Church of Christ and enjoyed participating in Putt Putt tournaments around the country. One of his passions was his Coca Cola Collection, in particular the village he had set up in his living room.

Surviving are two sisters, Cathy Rausch and Liz Rausch, both of Lafayette. He is also survived by many cousins who enjoyed spending time with.

Memorial contributions may be made in Thadd’s name to Natalie’s Second Chance or Almost Home Humane Society.

At this time, a grave side service is planned for later this year.
