Terry Ted Clingerman II, 29, of West Lafayette, died at 5:12 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at St. Elizabeth Central as the result of an accident.
He was born February 7, 1983, in Lafayette, to Bonnie McCarter (husband: Charles) Hurst, of West Lafayette, and Terry Ted Clingerman, of Lafayette.
He graduated from Benton Central High School in 2002.
Terry enjoyed writing poems, drawing, playing video games, watching science fiction movies and spending time with his daughter and family.
Surviving along with his parents are a daughter, Kenzy Rae Clingerman, of Evansville; three sisters, Jennifer Barry (husband: Derwin) Brown, Heather Clingerman, Abby Clingerman, all of Lafayette; a brother, Nathan Draper, of Fowler; his step father, Duane Draper, of Fowler; grandparents, Jack and Shirley McCarter, of Greentown, Carol Spence, of Lafayette, Ruth Draper, of Lafayette; a niece, Shelby Ford; one nephew, Austin Clingerman; a special friend, Jeremy Staley; and several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kenneth Draper and Patty Hurst.
Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2012, at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel 400 Twyckenham Blvd., Lafayette, IN 47909. Graveside service will start at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Spring Vale Cemetery in Lafayette, the Rev. Joe Bosen officiating.

Dear Jennifer and family,
I am late in sending this condolence, but wanted you to know I was deeply saddened by Terry&s death. He was a favorite red head of mine at BC. Later I used to kid/joke with him about the volkswagon in his yard. I love all VWs and I kept asking Terry if he was going to sell it and I would buy it. You take good care dear lady and I hope the rest of the summer is good for you and your family.
