Ted Horn, 63 passed from this earth, joining his family who was waiting for him in Heaven on Monday, Oct. 28, 2013. He was surrounded and embraced by those who loved him. Ted was raised and lived in West Point his entire life. He was a lifetime member of the West Point United Methodist Church. Ted was the son of Kenneth and Agnes (Rosen) Horn. He retired from Tippecanoe School Corporation after 37 years. Ted enjoyed camping at the river and to fish. He loved his family, friends, and his John Deere Mower. Ted groomed many yards in the West Point area; he will be missed being seen on his green mower. Surviving is his Sister, Jane Horn Sandefur (husband Donnie); his Nieces, Sha Sandefur Meihl (husband Aron), Tiffany Jean Sandefur (partner: Rob McKinney ll); Nephews Dennis Oliver (wife: Carol), Jeffrey Oliver; Sister in law Susan Horn. His joys, Hunter Michael, Hayvn LeAnn and Madison Jane Meihls, Robbie Lee McKinney lll, Hannah, Ella and Gentry Oliver, all of West Point. He was preceded in death by his Father, Kenneth Horn, Mother Agnes (Rosen) Horn, Brother, Billy Horn, and a Niece Kelly Jean Horn. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Mintonye Elementary School Library. As a custodian, he loved to see the kids enjoying reading in the library. The family will receive friends from 9:00 am until 11:00 am Friday, Nov. 1, 2013 at the West Point United Methodist Church. Funeral at 11:00 am Friday at West Point United Methodist Church. Pastor Jeff Stedge and Jane Horn Sandefur officiating. Burial will follow at West Point Cemetery.
