Tamara Rose (Johansen) Hough, 42, of Lafayette formerly of Tucson, AZ died unexpectedly on April 30, 2019.
She was born in Tucson, AZ on April 5, 1977 to Carl Johansen and the late Ruth (Lucas) Johansen. She attended Sunnyside High School in Tucson, AZ and Carrington College where she received her degree in Medical Coding and Billing. She also knew American Sign Language.
Tamara was a proud, single Mom to her 4 children and cherished every minute spent with them. She liked frogs, other animals, and the color green. She also liked to crochet and knit. She loved to read! Above all, Tamara loved to hang out and spend time with the people she loved and cared about.
Tamara is survived by her father, Carl of Tucson, AZ; 4 children, Jonathan Johansen-Hough, Amber Rose Hough, Klay Hough, and Deserey Hough, all of Tuscon, AZ; a brother, Stephen Johansen of Tucson; 2 sisters, Lori Johansen and Debra Johansen both of Lafayette and formerly of Tucson, AZ; and 4 grandchildren, Lucas, Erin, Francis, and Scarlett; and her pure bread yellow lab, Baby.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth.
A memorial visitation will be held from 10:00 am until time of memorial service 12:00 pm (noon), Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at River City Church, 108 Beck Lane, Lafayette, IN 47909.
