She was born April 20, 1953, in Lafayette, to the late Kenneth H. and Mary Ellen Easterday Sanford.
She graduated from North White High School in 1971.
Susan enjoyed reading, gardening, and spending time with her children.
Surviving are three sons Nathan Boardman of Lafayette; Jared Boardman of Glenburnie, MD; Justin Boardman of Lafayette and a sister Judy Bryant (husband Mike) of Otterbein.
She was preceded in death by a brother Kenneth H. Sanford Jr.
There will be private family services.
