I am so sorry to hear of Steve&s passing. I was shocked to hear of it and it brought back memories of seeing him in the halls at WLHS. He was an awesome guy and heaven has gotten a great one.
Thoughts and prayers heading your way,
1. Playing WCJC final in 7th grade basketball. We were down by 1 or tied with a few seconds left to play. I was on the bench. Coach Ruth looked at Steve, told him to put his head down and drive. He did and as best I can remember, we won.
2. Watching Wem literally run over and past Mississinewa at a game when we were juniors at Mississinewa. Fastest guy I ever saw in person.
Miss you Wem. You were a heck of a real guy. Not enough real guys left.
My memories of Steve are all good. He was such a sweet person and so much FUN.
Please know he will be missed dearly.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss - Steve was a great father and all-around good person to know. I will definitely miss his smiling face and bear hug when I come back to Lafayette. Take care of yourselves and enjoy the memories that you have of Steve. Love Mindy
