I never once saw Stan without a smile and a kind word for me. He always made me laugh. Even through his own pain he worried about his family. I am proud to have known him for as long as I did and really happy that I finally realized that he was Audrey&s dad. How small the world is to have grown up around Audrey and not know that this was her father. It had been a long time.
I will forever remember Stan and will be happy to see him in Heaven when we meet again.
Take care and I sincerely Love you all.

I have only known Stan and his family since late Sept or Oct of this year.
Stan and Gertie were such lovely people to meet, as well as their family. Stan and I ""hit it off"" from the start, sort of a mutual admiration maybe?, but I think the quote at the top says it all. I looked forward to seeing him and talking with him.
Despite his illness, and his family grief, he kept his cheerfulness and good nature! Oh to have known him earlier! Thankfully I was honored with knowing him and meeting his family, even if for a short time.
Thinking of you all and wishing you God&s peace at such a tender time.

P.S. Gertie I will try to stop by sometime soon and will call before I come.

I saw the notice in the J&C and want to express my condolences regarding the loss of your father. Having lost my dad earlier this year, I know that this is a hard thing to go through (especially at Christmas time) but we can take comfort knowing that our dads are in a better place because of the sacrifice that Christ made nearly 2000 years ago ... Even a greater reason to celebrate Christmas! All the best to you and your family.

Although my words cannot begin to ease the sorrow of your loss; please know your are in the prayers of so many who care. He suffers no more; for what ever reason the Lord has called him home he is there to Celebrate with Jesus and Charlotte. I have no doubt what a magnificant place Heaven is and he is singing praises and telling stories there too.
I pray Lord Jesus to comfort you, give you strength to support each other and recall those wonderful memories during this difficult time for you all.
God Bless,
Robin
