Stacy Renee Philpott, 27, of Lafayette died Wednesday, December 2, 2015 in Lafayette. She was born November 24, 1988, in Lafayette, to Loyd “Gene” and Wanda Morris Philpott of Lafayette. Stacy had worked for several years at Papa John's Pizza and Mad Mushroom Pizza. She enjoyed reading, writing, drawing, watching Disney Movies, and helping people. Stacy always put a smile on everyone’s faces. Surviving along with her parents is her daughter Lena N. Philpott of Lafayette, brothers Michael A. “Andy” Philpott of New Orleans, LA, Jody L. Philpott and wife Mickey of Houston, TX and her twin sister Tracy J. Davis (Jeff) of Lafayette. Other surviving family members include her grandmother Sylvia Morris of Lafayette, her grandfather Lloyd Philpott of Romney, and her niece, Juliana Davis of Lafayette. Stacy was preceded in death by a grandmother Virginia Helmrick and her grandfather John Albert Morris. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM Sunday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Service will be 1:00 PM Monday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel. Interment will be at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
