Sherri L. Allen, 65, of Dayton, Ind., died at 3:08 p.m. Saturday October 13, 2012, at St. Elizabeth East. She was born September 12, 1947, in Frankfort, to the late Donavan and Dorothy Bertrand Mattix.
She graduated from Dayton High School. On January 1, 1999 she married Kenneth Allen and he passed away on October 16, 2002.
Sherri was a security guard for Wabash National and worked six years as a custodian at SIA.
Sherri enjoyed her dogs , playing cards, word puzzles, fishing and time spent with her family and friends.
Surviving are a daughter, Robyn R. (husband: Shannon) Davis, of Lafayette; three grandchildren, Devin Westmoreland, of Lafayette and Alissa and Shannon Davis, of Lafayette; a sister, Becky Bray, of Indianapolis.
Visitation will be from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. October 17, 2012, at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel. Funeral Service 3:30 p.m. at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel; Gloria Goings officiating. Burial will be at Wyandotte Cemetery.
