Ryan C. Bastian, 27, of Lafayette, IN, died at 1:08 PM Thursday, February 2, 2012 at Wishard Hospital in Indianapolis.
He was born December 19, 1984, in Lafayette, IN, to Timothy W. and Deborah L. Criswell Bastian.
He was a graduate from Lafayette Jefferson High School class of 2003.
Ryan graduated from The Hebron Center at Camp Hunt in 2010. He then served at Hebron as a Servant Leader Trainee.
Surviving along with Parents are; Sister- Amy King husband Chris; Brothers- Craig and Neal Bastian; Great-Grandparents- Venita Criswell, Esther Johnson; Grandparents- Roger and Joyce Criswell, Richard and Sharon Bastian; Several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, 2 nieces and 2 nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday February 6, 2012 at 6pm at Faith Church
Rev. Dr. Mark Dutton and Pastor Andy Woodall Officiating.

I was so saddened to read about the loss of your dear son Ryan. I know all too well the heartache that your family is going through. I don&t know if you knew or not, but we lost our 22 year old Haitian daughter to suicide in June this past year. I want you to know that my heart understands your pain and I have been praying for you. Lean hard into the arms of Jesus. Keep your eyes on His promises and the truth of the gospel.
