Ruth P. Hostetler, 85, of Lafayette, passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at IU Arnett Hospital. She was born November 2, 1932, in Lafayette to the late Henry and Gertrude Weniger Foster.
Ruth graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School in 1950 and on August 16, 1958, she married Donald Hostetler in Lafayette and he survives. Ruth worked at Haywood Publishing for 14 years and is retired. She enjoyed gardening, going to garage sales and spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving along with her husband are her daughters Linda Parr of Attica, Connie St John of Indianapolis, grandchildren Korbin and Kaegan Parr, Cole and Kaylee Snider.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the time of the service at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Interment will be at Spring Vale Cemetery in Lafayette.
