Roy and I worked together at GTE 48 years ago. Roy was pretty quiet and laid back He always did the job he was assigned. One day he was installing a push-to-talk microphone on a PA system in a business. He came into the office and told me he was having problems. We went out together and figured out the fix. Even though that was a long time ago, I never forgot that or Roy after all these years. We reconnected several months ago. I wish we had reconnected sooner.

I feel very fortunate that I was able to meet Roy. He was an amazing grandfather and great grandfather to my son-in-law and granddaughters as well as a warm and loving grandfather-in-law and my daughter,Greta. I am fortunate enough to have been invited into Roy and Judy‘s home and enjoyed a wonderful day with them. I know he will be remembered as a kind and patient , father, grandfather, and great grandfather by them all.
