John and I were very sad to hear of the passing of your mother, lovingly referred to by Gaby as ""Rosie"". From the stories Gaby has shared with us, she was quite a woman and brought a measure of richness to the lives of both Gaby and Brian. For you there must be many memories to console and comfort you these difficult days. How lucky you are that your mother lived so many years to build those memories, yet at the same time that richness also adds to ones heartache. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers these days.
We have sent a donation in the name of your mother to Albergue Infantil Josefino, a shelter for abused and abandoned children in Oaxaca, Mexico, where I first met Gaby and your brother, Bob. I hope this is acceptable to you.
