Rosalie Nunn Huth

Rosalie Nunn (Allen) Huth, 86, of Lafayette, passed away at 7:30 am Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at her residence. She was born June 13, 1928, in Winston-Salem, NC, to the late William Daniel and Caddie Ferguson (Spears) Allen. On February 9, 1957 she married Ronald Taggart Huth in Chillum, MD and he survives. Rosalie was a member of St. James Lutheran Church and enjoyed gardening and sewing, even making alot of her own clothes. Surviving along with her husband are children, Darren Matthew Huth (Cheryl Lynne) of Indianapolis, Claudia Michelle Huth McGee (Wade Joseph) of Elmhurst, IL, Martin Finley Huth of West Lafayette; two sisters, Pattie Lois Allen Watson of Rock Hill, SC and Sara Allen Edens of Greensboro, NC along with two Grandchildren Conor James and Cally Rose McGee. She is preceded in death by two brothers William Daniel Allen, Jr and Bain Spear Allen. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 pm Friday, July 11, 2014 at St. James Lutheran Church followed by the funeral service at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 12 at St. James Lutheran Church, 800 Cincinnati St Lafayette, IN 47901 with Pastor David French officiating. Entombment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers those wishing may contribute to the St. James Lutheran Foundation of Lafayette, INC 800 Cincinnati St. Lafayette, IN 47901.
