Roger C. Freeman, 51, of Lafayette passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at St. Elizabeth Central. He was born September 14, 1962, in Kittery, ME, to Helen Bevin Freeman of Ashboro, NC and the late Roger Freeman. Roger graduated from the University of South Carolina and received his Master's degree from Bowling Green University. On August 18, 1984, he married Veronica Connell in Beauford, SC and she survives. Roger has worked at TRW, in Lafayette, since 2009. He enjoyed playing computer games and traveling. Surviving along with his wife are his children Jeffrey D. Freeman (Jennifer) of St. Louis, MO, Alexandra L. Freeman of Lafayette and a grandson Zachary Jon Freeman. Roger was preceded in death by a son Jon D. Freeman. Also surviving are his brothers Tim Freeman of Charleston, SC, Jerry Freeman (Kimberly) of Columbia, SC and Chris Freeman (Michelle) of Ashboro, NC. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to a 5 PM Service Sunday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Those wishing may contribute the American Heart Association in Roger's memory.
