Rebecca Sue Weisenberger, 59, of Clarks Hill went to her heavenly home on January 30, 2021 at IU Health Hospital, Lafayette after a battle with Covid-19.

She was born June 3, 1961 At Grissom Air Force Base in Kokomo to the late Harold F. DeGal and Emily S. (Brunton) DeGal. She was a 1979 graduate of Frankfort Senior High School and received her RN degree from Indiana University School of Nursing, Kokomo in 1996. On April 17, 1993, Becky married Gregory Paul Weisenberger at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Lafayette where they are members.

Along with her husband Greg, she is survived by 2 children, John Weisenberger and Emily Weisenberger both of Clarks Hill; and her brother, Forest DeGal of Frankfort. Along with many close family and friends.

Becky worked at Frito Lay from 1980-1993 where she made many lifelong friends and met the love of her life, Greg. She worked in the McCutcheon High School special needs department with her wonderful bonus children starting in 2002.

Becky loved the Saint Louis Cardinals, going on trips, texting her many friends/family and serving others before herself. Most of all, Becky enjoyed spending time loving her family. Becky was the most caring, genuine and loving mother, wife, friend and teacher. She was a true follower of Christ and touched so many lives in the most memorable way. Her positive, pleasant, patient and sweet spirit will shine on forever.

Memorial contributions in Becky’s name may be given to the Clinton County Humane Society.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm, Wednesday, February 3, 2021 with Rosary at 3:45 pm at Soller-Baker, Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd., Lafayette.

A Funeral Mass will be at 1 pm, Thursday, February 4, 2021 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church with Father Richard Weisenberger and Father Andrew Dudzinski officiating.

Interment will follow at the Clarks Hill Cemetery.

Masks are to be worn and social distancing is required at all services.
