Raymond E. Troup, 85, of Lafayette died Monday, July 13, 2015 at Heritage Health Care. He was born September 25, 1929, in Goodland to the late Harvey and Ruby Troup. Ray graduated from Goodland High School and served in the United States Army in the Korean War. On August 14, 1996 he married Linda Martin in LasVegas and she survives. Raymond worked for PSI for 34 years retiring in 1992. He then worked at Purdue University as an usher at football and basketball games. He was a good father, husband, grandfather and great grandfather. Surviving along with his wife is his son Steve Troup (Linda) of SanDiego, CA, step daughter Billie Jo Martin of Lafayette, grandchildren Julie Martin, Paul Mullins, Josh Martin, great grandchildren Nicco and Carrson Jaggers. Ray was preceded in death by a daughter Lynnette Bolden, siblings Allan, Barb and Gladys. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until the time of the service at 10:30 AM on Saturday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd.
