He had just called me Saturday to tell me what was going on with him and to let the family know. He said although he wouldn't make it to our Luff reunion this year; he was looking forward to the BIG reunion with everyone in heaven. I like to think of him there now having the ultimate reunion!

Sandy- there are no words I can say that express my sorrow. I am not ashamed to tell you I bawled like a child at this great loss. Randy was a terrific guy. Loyal, steadfast, a man of integrity, determination, and grit. He loved you fiercely. Always talked about you. You were the world to him and you two were so sweet together. He was a champion and a hero to me. He beat back cancer so many times, and remained the most cheerful and hardworking fella through all the adversity he faced. Randy taught me so much by his example and through his friendship. He never lost track of me over the decades and I owe him a debt for being such a faithful friend. He had such sincere words and support when my Patty passed. I will be praying that our Heavenly Father comfort you, and bring to remembrance to all that knew Randy how to live life like a champ as he did. I know he is now healed and whole in the presence of our Lord.
