Randall K. Luff, 62, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. He lost his fight to cancer. But, he put up quite a fight. He was born on May 28, 1960, in Lafayette to the James and Anna Luff.
Randy graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1979. He married Sandra Miller on May 6, 1988. They spent 44 wonderful years together. They were best friends and soul mates. You never saw one without the other.
Randy had a heart of gold. He would help anyone anytime. Randy never met a stranger. He had a great sense of humor and always had to have the last word! He enjoyed camping, deer hunting, flea markets and traveling. Sandy and he went on so many wonderful vacations together. When he was younger, he enjoyed Boy Scouts and going to the Jamborees.
Randy managed Wendy’s restaurants and then managed the Union Market in the Purdue Memorial Union. He worked in maintenance for Purdue University for 24 years.
He loved his family and his faith. Randy believed those were number one. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother James R. Luff.
Surviving along with his wife are his sisters Diana Luff of Oregon, Susan (Joe) Bixler of Dayton, IN, nieces and nephews Victoria Loughran, John Kness, Tara Miller, Jason and David Luff and Joe Bixler. Also surviving is his brother-in-law and hunting buddy, Michael (Robin) Miller.
