Pauline Wallick, 86, of Lafayette, died at 1:25 p.m. Friday December 21, 2012, at Indiana University Health. She was born January 3, 1926, in Lyndon, Ill., to the late Loyd and Anna Harrington. She graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University with a bachelor's degree in art. In 1949 she married Donald Wallick in Lyndon, Ill. He died in 1976. Pauline was the choir director at Bethany Presbyterian Church, Librarian at Jeff High School and a substitute teacher . She was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church and sang in the Lafayette Civic Chorus, Bach Choral and at Temple Israel. She was also an avid bridge player. Surviving is a daughter, Karen Fanwick (husband: Phil), of West Lafayette; two sons, Brian Wallick (wife: Deborah), of Saudi Arabia and Kyle Wallick, of Laurel, Maryland; sister, Elizabeth Ann “Betty” Soltow, of Dubuque, Iowa; three grandchildren, Christopher Fanwick, of Monticello, and Micah and Sarah Fanwick, of West Lafayette. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. December 26, 2012, at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel. Funeral Service 1 p.m. at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel; the Rev. Kevin Bowers officiating. Burial will be at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens. Preceded in death by parents, Loyd and Anna Harrington; husband, Donald A. Wallick; and two brothers.
