Paul J. Haugen, 47, of Lafayette, died at 3:15 AM Friday, January 7, 2011 at Clarian Arnett Hospital.
He was born March 17, 1963, in Forest City, IA, to Patricia Reid Haugen Easterbrook (husband Bill) of Clarks Hill and the late Jerry D. Haugen.
He graduated from McCutcheon High School in 1982.
On 03/26/1983 he married Kathleen Davis in Lafayette, and she survives.
Paul was a self employed truck driver and also drove for Bob James Construction, and Bud Spurlock Enterprise.
He was a member of the Linden Conservation Club and enjoyed fishing, playing bingo and the lottery and was involved with the Indiana Junior Rodeo Association.
Surviving along with his spouse and mother are 3 daughters Jennifer Moseley (husband Brandon(,
Kelsey Haugen and Shelby Haugen all of Lafayette 2 sisters Tammy Sipple (husband Wes) and Penny Kauffman (husband Tim) both of Lafayette and a brother Tim Haugen of Lafayette.
Also surviving is a granddaughter Tayten Moseley, his mother-in-law Lu Davis of Lafayette and several nieces and nephews.
Paul was preceded in death by his father-in-law Bob Davis.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 pm Sunday, January 9, 2011 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel with funeral Services at 10:00 am Monday, January 10, 2001 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel 400 Twyckenham Blvd Lafayette, IN 47909 with Rev?s Mark Berg and Steven Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery.

Dear Kathy and Family:

I just want you to know I am sorry for your loss, and that you have all been in my thoughts and prayers this week.

Paul fought a good fight for so many years, and was blessed with a family, and I see even a grandchild!

Having known him best in &younger days&, it is hard to imagine him as a &Grandpa&... but I am sure he took the role very serious and spoiled her rotten! :)

May God grant you peace and comfort during your time of need.

Sorry to hear about Paul&s passing. Kathy prayers are with you and your family at this time. Mrs. Easterbrook, I did not realize that you were Paul&s mother. If you need anything, don&t hesitate to call. Jennifer, Michael Jr. said if you need someone to talk to, other than a family member, he is all ears. Tammy, I think we knew you were related, but through the years had forgotten until the newspaper obituary came out. Very sorry to hear about this being your brother. Hello to all of your family and OUR WHOLE FAMILY is sorry to hear about your loss. Wether, its a husband, wife, father, mother, brother, sister, Aunt, Uncle, Son, Daughter or cousin, we all hurt in a different yet same way. To the family of Paul, we are very sorry to hear of the passing of Paul. He has been a very special person all his life to my family. Pat I know what you are going through and Kathy my heart goes out to you and you the girls. They are going to miss their daddy very much. I could not make myself come to his viewing because it brought back the memories and heart ache from when we lost Matthew. Please forgive me. My family is here for you if you need anything. I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Paul. I will remember all the fun times we had in high school. I know it has been awhile since we have seen each other, but with Aunt Bev in the family we always knew when Paul was not doing well.
