Patricia Ann Koger, 91, of West Lafayette, passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at University Place.

She was born September 8, 1930, in Detroit, MI, to the late James and Hazel (Hughes) Barton.

Patricia graduated from West High School in 1948 and Burroughs Business College both in Columbus, OH.

On March 25, 1950 she married Dr. Kenneth J. Koger, the former superintendent of Tippecanoe School Corporation, in Columbus, OH. He preceded her in death on July 4, 2015.

Patricia worked as a tax specialist and retail manager for HR Block before retiring in 1991.

She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church and enjoyed genealogy, sewing.

Surviving are children, Michael (wife Susan) Koger of MI, Kenneth (wife Diana) Koger of Lafayette, Lynn (companion Vaughan) Pynaert of MI, and David (wife Melinda) Koger of Osceola. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and a great great grandson.

Patricia was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Tonne, a sister, Elizabeth Cahill and two brothers, James and Richard Barton.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until the time of the service at 3:00 pm on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Soller- Baker Funeral Home, 400 Twyckenham Blvd., Lafayette, with Pastor David French officiating.

In lieu of flowers those wishing may contribute to St. James Lutheran Church.
