Neil A. Bullock, 50, of Lafayette, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2020. He was born June 29, 1970, in Lafayette to Mary Jane (Downey) Bullock of Lafayette and the late Jerry Bullock. Neil and his wife Stephanie met and graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1988. On July 30, 1994, he married Stephanie Parker in St. Mary Cathedral. Neil was a Lead Chemical Operator for EVONIK and was a member of the Emergency Response Team. He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Neil was a sports fan and enjoyed hunting and grilling. The most important thing in his life were his daughters and wife.

Surviving along with his wife are his daughters Megan and Emma Bullock of Lafayette, siblings Jerome (Joan) Bullock of Indianapolis, Bill Bullock of Lafayette, Tom (Julie) Bullock of Indianapolis and Lori (Tony) Schafer of Lafayette.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 pm on Tuesday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Father Eric Underwood officiating. Interment will be at St. Boniface Cemetery in Lafayette.

I am so sorry to hear of Neil’s passing. I have great memories of our days at CC and playing football. Neil was a really good athlete and very fast runner!! I was so envious of that! He was also quick with a smile and a good joke! He had a great laugh. I didn’t see him often After CC, but I really enjoyed seeing and talking to him at our last reunion. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. R.I.P. Neil Bullock.

I am so sorry I couldn't come to visit the family in their time of sorrow. I had family obligations of my own, but do know I cannot imagine the void this wonderful man has left in your family. He was an awesome responder and asset to the team. You had a great father, husband, brother and son to have for the time you did have to spend with him.

You are in my heart and my prayers today, and in the days to come.

This makes my heart hurt so much. When you spend 12 years (Stephanie) and 4 years (Neil) with a class of just 72 people, they become family. Last time I saw Neil was at a Hazardous Materials Exercise at Evonik. It was so nice to see he and Craig Loy both. Childhood friends... I just want to wrap my arms around you Stephanie. My heart hurts so much for you. Know that this Class of '88 classmate loves you all so much. Here on Earth for a little while. Together for eternity.

I'm so sorry to hear of Neil's passing. I worked with Neil at Evonik. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and cared about his work and coworkers. After I left the company, he was so sweet to keep in touch on Facebook. He will be missed.
