Nancy Ruth Schultz, 81, of Lafayette passed away at 5:12 am, Monday, November 6, 2017 at her home.
She was born May 28, 1936 in Lafayette to the late Wallace J. McKay and Louise A. (Hurley) McKay. She was a 1954 graduate of St. Francis High School and was class Valedictorian. On June 30, 1956, she married the love of her life, David L. Schultz at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Lafayette, he survives.
Nancy worked in the Payroll and Personnel Departments at Bank One, Purdue, and Chase Banks in Lafayette where she enjoyed working for 20 years until her retirement. She enjoyed golfing and trips with groups to Kentucky, Myrtle Beach, and Florida. She played golf at the Lafayette City Golf Course where she received a hole in 1 on hole #2. She also enjoyed going to the lake and spending time with her grandkids.
Along with her husband, she is survived by her 7 sons, David (Mary) Schultz of Lafayette, Dennis (Rosie) Schultz of Las Vegas, NV, Joseph (Tammie) Schultz of Lafayette, Gary (Amy) Schultz of Sidney, OH, Jeffrey Schultz of Lafayette, Bill (Shelly) Schultz of Lafayette, Patrick (Rita) Schultz of West Lafayette; 6 siblings, Mary Lou Scott of Boulder, CO, Beth Grenat of Bloomington, IL, David (Carol) McKay of Georgia, Helen Kockert of West Lafayette, Alice Pearl of West Lafayette, and Steve McKay, of Lafayette; 17 grandchildren, Leslie, Gretchen, Jonathan, Daniel, Michael, Amber, Cassie, Heather, Erin, Kristen, Susie, Logan, Clinton, Taryn, Grant, Blair, and Sharon and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Sharon Lousie; 3 brothers, Wallace, Joe, and Robert; and a sister, Patsy.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Soller-Baker Funeral Home, Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd, Lafayette.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am, Friday, November 10, 2017 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 318 N. 9th Street, Lafayette, IN 47904 with Father Timothy Alkire officiating. Interment will immediately follow at St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery.
