Rest in Peace Mike, you will always have a special place in my heart. There are so many things that continue to remind me of you and the 5 years we spent together. Although, our lives went very different directions, I still remain thankful I spent time with you in Indiana and Florida. Thank God for all of our cherished memories, and that bittersweet phone call last year, it was if no time had passed. You took my breath away that one last time....

My prayers go out to your family.

Jim and family: What a loss - it is almost beyond words. Mike was a big, lovable, husky outdoorsman who lived and loved every minute of his life. He always treated me with such respect and kindness. I can not even begin to imagine the extent of the loss and how much he will be missed. In the course of life, many challenges are presented to us. Coping with this loss will certainly be a huge challenge for the Nicholases. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. When the irises bloom this spring, I will remember him and his love for life.
