Maureen R. Delp, 77, passed away on January 6, 2025 in West Lafayette, Indiana.
She is survived by her son Edward John Delp IV of Florence, Kentucky and her grandson Nathan Bullock of Bloomington, Indiana. Also surviving are her siblings Doreen (Robert) Black of Stratford, Connecticut, Colleen (Jeff) Savko of Stratford, Connecticut, Joseph (Margaret) Bonney of Olathe, Kansas, and Timothy (Lori) Bonney of Seymor, Connecticut. Maureen was preceded in death by her brother Thomas Bonney.
Maureen was born on December 28, 1947, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, to James and Rita (Hanley) Bonney. Maureen received her education at Bunnell High School and Purdue University. She would go on to work for Purdue as an Undergraduate Counselor for International Students.
Maureen was a master at crocheting, knitting, needlework, and craft work of many kinds. Later in life she had begun to pick up painting. However, her favorite thing was talking to and spending time with her beloved son and grandson.
Maureen’s memorial mass will be on February 8, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament in West Lafayette, Indiana. In lieu of flowers or other items of value, please consider making a charitable contribution to Catholic Relief Services.

Dear Eddie: I miss my sister, Moe so much. She was a very special person.

Dear Eddie and family, I am Auntie Kit and Uncle Bernie's oldest child- your mom's cousin. My family and I live in the Finger Lakes region of NY. I have very fond memories of visiting Stratford to see my wonderful cousins and Aunt, Uncle and grandparents. I was thrilled when I ventured onto FB and was able to reconnect with your Mom. I prayed for her often knowing she was struggling health-wise. I am thankful that she is at peace and comfort now as our faith teaches us. I hope to meet you and your son someday. Family ties are such a gift! God bless you Eddie!
