Mary Rose Haley, 62, of Lafayette, died at 11:31 pm Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at IU Arnett Hospital. She was born January 22, 1951, in Cincinnati, OH, to the late Joel and Catherine Rohling Moller. She received her BS at the University of Cincinnati, her MS at Purdue University and received her PHD in Bio Inorganic Chemistry in 1982 from Purdue University. On January 15, 1980 she married Guy McCord Haley in Lafayette, he survives. Mary was a member of St. Mary Cathedral and enjoyed Cooking, Knitting, Electric welding and studying the Greek language. Guy was quoted as saying she was “My True Rose Of Heaven”. Surviving along with her husband is a sister, Margaret Kelley (husband Tom) and a brother Bernie Moller both of Cincinnati, Ohio. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until the time of the Funeral Mass at 1:30 pm Monday, December 23, 2013 at St. Mary Cathedral, with Fr. Jeff Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Vale Cemetery. Those wishing may contribute to the St. Mary Cathedral in Mary's name.
