Mary Lee (Gobble) Voege, 71, formerly of West Lafayette, passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 in Zionsville.
She was born January 16, 1947, in Lafayette, to the late Carl and Mary (Devol) Gobble.
Lee graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School in 1965.
On February 28, 1970, she married Ernst A. Voege in Lafayette. Ernst passed away on July 16, 1998.
Lee worked at Lafayette Life Insurance Company and Happy Hollow Elementary School.
She enjoyed camping, gardening, cooking, counted cross stitch and reading.
Surviving are a daughter, Sarah A. (Aaron) Tague of Zionsville, a son, Ernst C. Voege of Westfield, a brother, Dennis J. (Christine) Gobble of Elkhart, and a sister, Gretchen Gobble of Lafayette. Also surviving are three grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 10:00 am until the time of the memorial service starting at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 2 at Soller-Baker West Lafayette Chapel, 1184 Sagamore Parkway West, West Lafayette, IN 47906. Rev. Lucia Oerter will be officiating.
