Mary Louise Roth, 97, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Rosewalk Village, Lafayette, IN.  Mary Roth was born in Lafayette October 16, 1920 to the late George W Roth and the late Mary H (Robinson) Roth. After the early passing of her mother, Mary was raised by her father and stepmother, the late Lucille N (Faulkner) Roth.

Mary graduated in 1940 from Jefferson High School.  She was secretary to Sam Loeb at Loeb’s Department Store for 25 years and later was a legal secretary to several attorneys in Lafayette retiring December 1995. Mary was a 30 year member of the local Professional Secretaries International where she was a Past President and 1969 Secretary of the Year. She was a member of St Boniface Catholic Church. Mary enjoyed reading, playing cards, spending time with her friends and relatives, and was a loyal life-long Cubs Fan.

Mary is survived by a sister, Marjorie Holscher of Austin, Texas, niece Debbie (Bob) Clampitt, nephew Bruce (Paula) Randolph, and great niece Denise Marsh. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceding her in death are her parents, stepmother, sister Wardina Randolph and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am on Monday, March 5, 2018 at St. Boniface Catholic Church.  Burial will follow at St Boniface Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Mary’s name to St Boniface Church, 318 N. 9th Street Lafayette, IN 47904.  The family would like to express their appreciation for the compassionate care by Rosewalk Village Lafayette and IU Health Hospice.
