Mary Jane (Sietsma) Wilhoit, 82, of Lafayette passed away at 2:25 am on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Westminster Village.
She was born November 6, 1934 in Lafayette to the late Peter and H. Lorraine (Stair) Sietsma.
Jane graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School in 1952 and the University of Beauty Culture in Indianapolis.
Jane was a Hostess with TWA, Former owner/operator of the Powder Box Beauty Salon and served as vice president of Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
Her marriage was to William E. Wilhoit on June 7, 1969 in Lafayette, he passed away on March 31, 1989.
Jane volunteered for the St. Elizabeth and Home Hospital Auxiliaries.
Surviving is a sister, Carolyn Bridge (husband Gary) of Lafayette; a stepson, Bruce Wilhoit (wife Angie) of West Lafayette as well as nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother Charles R. Sietsma and a step-son, Jeff Wilhoit.
Friends may call from 10:00 am until 12 noon on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the Tippecanoe Memory Gardens Mausoleum Chapel.
